Who is Jodi?
Welcome to my Blog!
I noted my favorite scripture to start. It's my lifelong "go to" and God has continuously set my rocky paths straight.
Here is a place where I will offer my best efforts to visually bring you to a place of beauty, love and peace with pictures and words of hope. And of course sharing my Love for Jesus!
So, a little about me.
I am married to a cool, fun, techy husband named Ken. We have been together for over 26 years and married for 22. We got married very, very young. lol! We have two beautiful daughters, a 18 year old named Morgan Rose who is a hockey lovin, animal lovin' gal', tugging at my heart daily, she is a Kenny replicate and oh I so adore her. My 13 year named Abigal Grace is a mini-me, singer, dancer, actress sweet as honey and my twinkle, twinkle little star. My cup runneth over with love for her. We also have a 110 pound German Shepherd named Loki and a feisty cat named Daisy (we call her Tigre for short) She is also Crazy, Daisy.
I am a huge fan of all kinds of music (especially Christian/Worship) and have spent my life studying music and performing as a female vocalist. I currently participate with my church's worship band. Its my happy place no doubt. I have also served as a guest on several podcast along with building my own (as I write this).
My husband and I share an Alma Mater: Syracuse University! Go Cuse!!! We love our Football and Basketball teams to the core and are loyal fans. At Syracuse University, I was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and made lifelong friendships that I still share in today. Some other hobbies include decorating, cooking and the true joy of time with family and friends. I am obsessed with filling my mind (and building muscle memory) with the bible and Christ so I constantly read and watch You-Tube videos of Godly speakers, pastors and Leaders. I am a nutty social media hound and my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram news feeds are shamelessly apart of my daily lurking habits. I tend to "Like" and "Love" a lot!
We ventured down south about 5 years ago to reclaim our lives and it has been a beautiful journey here in North Carolina. We hail from Central New York and although it will always be our home, I see now why the Lord brought us here. So many reason with more and more unfolding daily.
Life is good.
Life is hard.
Life is real.
Life is challenging.
Life should lead with love.
Its not always that complicated.
I am a work in progress.
I love the Lord!
and the work that he has done in me so far. I cant wait to see what Jesus has in store next!
Grace and Love,
